Hazel Marie Coe, age 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday morning in a Chattanooga health care facility. Mrs. Coe was born in Chatsworth, Georgia and she was the daughter of the late Caphus Hattie Flood Keener and Thomas Milton Keener. Her sisters, Tommie Jeans Hall, Zella Turner and Wilma Sumner Gibson and her brothers, Raymond, Ralph, Grover and A. L. Keener also preceded her in death. Mrs. Coe worked for several years with Collins Manufacturing but she was best known for her many years of service as the Biscuit Maker for the Hardees on Blue Springs Road. She loved working in her yard and she was a member of the Georgetown Church of God.Survivors include her husband of 51 years, J. L. Coe of Cleveland, her daughter, LaQuita K. Carroll and her husband Mike, her special grand daughter, Hannah Carroll all of Cleveland, her brother, Harlan Keener of Chatsworth, Georgia and several nieces and nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend James "Buck" Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Tommy Keener, Delbert Snyder, Arthur Snyder, Bill Deaver, Robert Prince and Larry Veal serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements. I enjoyed knowing Hazel in just the little amount of time that I did. She was such a loving and caring person. And her family is also.
I have know Hazel for many years was alway friendly and caring person did her hair for several years we got close and shared many memories I am hear broken to lose a close friend but I will see her again one day in heaven my condolences to Jay and her Daughter laQuita and all the family may you find strength and peace from GOD she will be missed
