Lula Jane Bolen

Lula Jane Bolen, age 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 in a local hospital. Lula was a native of Mount Sterling, Kentucky and she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Clifford Barker and Emert Barker. Her sons, Jason Dean Becraft and Kenneth Dale White and her siblings, Karen Lee Barker, Loretta Jean Becraft, Clarence Barker and Larry Norman Barker also preceded her in death. Lula worked for Jockey with many years of service, retiring as a Supervisor. She loved reading the Bible and was in the process of reading the Bible from cover to cover for the 5th time! She never met a stranger and never turned anyone away that was hungry or needed rest. Lula loved her Lord and she attended the Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, Phillip White of Cleveland, her sister, Opal Eyvon Cameron of Red Bank, Tennessee, her brothers, Eddie Barker of Benton, Emert Barker of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 3:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Jerry Elder officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
