Rebecca Holcomb Wilson

Rebecca Holcomb Wilson age 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. Mrs. Wilson was born in Mt. Vernon, Tennessee on December 19, 1932 and she was a daughter of the late Chance and Bays Holcomb. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed spending time with her family, helping others, quilting, gardening, going to exercise, attending church functions, singing in the choir, reading, donating to charity and she enjoyed all sports. Mrs. Wilson was a long time member of Big Springs United Methodist Church.Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Hoyt "Shane" Wilson of Cleveland, her son, Greg Wilson, her grand daughter, Chancie Brewer and her husband Chris, her great grandchildren, Peyton Brewer and Shayli Brewer, her sisters, Jerewanda "Jiggs" Mullinax, Laquita Bowman, Jennifer Holcomb and her devoted family friend, Suzia Hawkins also survives.The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel. Interment will follow in the Moores Chapel Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Moores Chapel Cemetery Fund, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org or to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 P. M. on Friday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
