William Junior Crowder

William Junior Crowder a resident of Empire AL. and formerly of Cleveland passed away Saturday October 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Louise Crowder, his parents William Junior and Mary Crowder his sisters Laurel Crowder, Virginia Ward and his brother Billy Crowder. Mr. Crowder had worked in different carpet mills in Dalton, he had also worked at Magic Chef. He was also employed with R and L Furniture in Cleveland as a furniture craftsman. He attended Beacon Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters Tricia Minot, Belinda Brewer and her husband Dennis, Nettie Gibbs and Willodean Curry; special daughter Shannon Clements, grandchildren Daniel and Stanley Curry, Josh Gibbs, Jessica Garrett, and Cameron and Erica Brewer, seven great grandchildren, his brother Harold Crowder and his wife Sue, his sister Delores Woods and a host of nieces and nephews. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Wednesday at 8 pm at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Rev. Tony Garrett officiating. The interment will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery 1pm Thursday afternoon with Josh Gibbs, Tony Garrett, Daniel and Stanley Curry, Blake Thomas and Cameron Brewer serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.Read Obituary
